Susan Poulin is back as the incomparable Ida LeClair,  the funniest woman in Maine. And she has just what she’s always wanted – her very own variety show!

The View from He’ah is plumb-chucka full of fun. Ida will fill you in with all the news from Mahoosuc Mills, delight you with interviews, hilarious stories, maybe even a recipe.  And then prepare to be captivated by Special Guest Star – celebrated storyteller and mime Antonio Rocha!

Antonio-Rocha-250-pixelsA native of Brazil, Antonio Rocha began his career in the performing arts in 1985. In 1988 he received a Partners of the Americas grant to come to the USA to perform and deepen his mime skills with Mime Master Tony Montanaro. Since then Antonio has earned a Summa Cum Laude Theater BA from USM (University of Southern Maine) and studied with Master Marcel Marceau. Mr. Rocha’s unique solo shows of stories and mime have been performed in 16 countries on 6 continents. Some of the venues include the Singapore Festival of the Arts, the Kennedy Center, the Smithsonian Institution, the National Storytelling Festival, Wolf Trap, The National Geographic, Dunya Festival in Holland, the Tales of Graz in Austria, as well as many other storytelling festivals and educational institutions around the USA. Antonio has some fun and award-winning DVDs and picture books too!
