Special Book Launch
February 16, 2020

Artists’ Collaborative Theatre & Grateful Heart Books & Plays invites you to the book launch of a fascinating debut novel ~ Appointment With Unreality!

Join us at the Plains School in Portsmouth for a lively gathering (with refreshments!) to meet Maine writer Allegra May, who will share selected excerpts that introduce the mystery at the heart of this captivating story.
Lee, a retired mental health counselor, is hearing a voice in her head.  A delusional episode? Unlikely.  An alien creature? Impossible.  Solving this puzzle will take Lee beyond the reality she knows; it’s good she has her brave and intelligent Kai dog with her.
Written under the pen-name Penelope May, Appointment With Unreality weaves together adventure, neuroscience, space, humor, faith, and deep friendship. The journey that Lee and her Kai Ken dog Rayna share propels them beyond the known world into the outer reaches of belief ~ to an affirmation of the binding connection between all forms of life.
