Judgment Day

Artist’s Collaborative Theatre is pleased to present new works by two of our favorite writer/actors!

In Judgment Day Roland Goodbody and David Kaye each explore the life of a person who achieved great fame in their time.  Roland takes us on “A Walk with Marlene,” with unexpected results, through the streets of Berlin in search of the grave of the beloved film star and passionate anti-Nazi activist.

In “The Haber Conundrum,” David calls to the stand Fritz Haber, German chemist and Nobel laureate, who fell from acclaim to infamy and descended into obscurity.  These gifted performers weave their stories with penetrating insights, seasoned humor, and deep wisdom.

2022-2023

Stay tuned, friends!  We will have word for you soon on Artist’s Collaborative Theatre’s exciting plans for the future!

ACT ONE’s new “Share Ticket”

Have you heard about ACT ONE’s new
Share Ticket?

We all agree that everyone who loves theatre should be able to attend theatre. Thanks to the generous support of ACT ONE’s Circle of Friends, we now have a Share Fund. This means that anyone who wishes to see an ACT ONE performance may purchase a Share Ticket for a penny, a nickel, $5, $10 – just whatever he or she wishes to pay!

Proceeds from Share Ticket sales will go to the Share Fund, “paying it forward” for the next person who might benefit from a reduced-price theatre ticket.

ACT ONE’s mission is to share stories with heart with our community.  So spread the word to friends and family.  Never should the price of a ticket keep someone from enjoying a great story!

I Ought To Be In Pictures

Artists’ Collaborative Theatre celebrates the unmatched legacy of beloved playwright Neil Simon with the production of his brilliant comedy,

Meet screenwriter Herb Tucker. Herb has writer’s block…and a guilty conscience for leaving his family sixteen years ago. But Fate comes knocking when his 19-year old daughter shows up at his door with plans to become a star. Libby Tucker is someone you’ll never forget — a spitfire of a girl full of hope who offers her father a second chance at life and love . . .  if he’s brave enough to take it.

Danielle Howard directs an all-star cast, with Michael Walsh as Herb, Hannah Wagner as Libby, and Donna Phofolos as Herb’s wise and patient girlfriend, Steffy!

SPRING INTO SUMMER
Special June Event

Many thanks to all who joined us for the New Hampshire premiere of Michael J. Tobin’s hilarious and heartfelt comedy ~

Cupid’s Arrow!
June 7 – 9 at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH

Cupid’s Arrow!  played to full houses and we had to add a performance to accommodate everyone who wished to see the show.  Gretchen G. Wood and Michael J. Tobin wowed our audiences with the story of Fannie Lou Harper and Jimmie Tate, two charming people who dive into the deep end of online dating late in life and come up winners!

Jimmie and Fannie Lou each log onto Silver Southern Singles with not a little trepidation, but before they know it, they are swapping wisecracks and hard-earned wisdom, sharing precious memories and a few of their deepest doubts.  Who-da-thunk-it?  And where will this lead, you may ask?  Treat yourself to a most delightful time, and join ACT ONE for this sweet and tender do-si-do!

If you missed this wonderful show, don’t worry ~ we will definitely be bringing this show back!
